Moray village main road to close to allow Scottish Water repair works this coming week
A main road through a Moray village is due to close during the coming week
Gordon Street in Portgordon outside Number 27 is set to shut over October 13-14 to allow Scottish Water to deal with a loose manhole cover and damage to the carriageway.
Drivers should follow the following diversion - A990, A942, A98, A990.
The firm will also be working in Cullen and at two sites in Findochty.
In the former village, at 16 Binview Road, Scottish Water aim to have completed repairs to a leaking boundary box by Thursday.
Boundary box work is also on the cards 24 Commercial Street, Findochty - starting on October 14-15 for three working days - and at 15 Seafield Street, due to end by Monday.
Openreach will also have a number of works in progress.
At Bridge Street, Portknockie, three-way traffic lights will be in place on October 16 between 9.30am and 3.30pm to allow for cabling work.
Meanwhile, the company plan to start work by October 16 outside 10-28 Raffan Road, Buckie to excavate a duct.
Efforts to clear a blocked duct at 59 Archibald Grove in the town should be done by Tuesday at the latest.
Openreach will be at 10, Greenlaw Lane in Buckie, ending by October 16 to conduct excavation work.
In a similar vein, the firm will be on site at 11 Tannachy Terrace, Portgordon until Wednesday.
Scottish Gas Network will continue work on dealing with a gas escape outside 17 West Street, Buckie.
Meanwhile, Moray Council will be resetting a drainage gully at the entrance to Buckie ambulance Station on Barhill Road, which should be completed by Monday or Tuesday.
Finally, the local authority are aiming to complete drainage repairs at the junction of the A98 and the A990, Howe of Enzie, by Tuesday.
