Sections of several streets in Bishopmill will temporarily close to traffic when a six-week rolling programme of gasworks begins next month.

The work to replace gas mains is scheduled to start on Monday, August 2, on Bridge Street between house numbers 37 and 41.

Once finished, the gas engineers will move onto East Back Street, close to its junction with North Street.

The next locations are all nearby and also close to their junctions with North Street.

They are West Back Street, followed by Blantyre Place, then Mitchell Crescent.

The gasworks are scheduled to finish on Sunday, September 12.
