Buckie street set to reopen this week as Scottish Water finish off sewer repairs
A Buckie road which has been closed to allow sewer repairs should reopen this coming week.
On Main Street, Buckpool, Buckie Scottish Water are scheduled to complete sewer repairs by May 20. A diversion is in place following A990 Main Street, A990, A942, A98 and A990.
Over at No 104a Seatown, Cullen Scottish Water should have completed installing a replacement manhole cover by Wednesday. Drivers are advised to use adjacent streets.
A prohibition of waiting order will be in force from May 20 to June 20 on the Buckie’s Steinbeck Road for 50m in all directions at the junction with Spey Drive to allow Scottish Gas Network (SGN) to undertake connection works.
Outside No 48 Seafield Street, Cullen Moray Council plan to be conducting footway repairs over Monday and Tuesday.
Openreach aim to begin a 22m-loing maintenance dig at 11 The Steadings, Findochty over Monday or Tuesday for three working days. The company will be undertaking similar work outside 12 Middleton Court in Buckie over the same time period.,
At Banff Street, Buckie Scottish eater will be working until Wednesday to repair a noisy manhole cover. The diversion will take drivers along Banff Street, West Church Street, North Pringle Street and Railway Terrace.
In Portgordon, Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution will be at the substation next to Station Road directly behind 1 Earl’s View Tuesday and May 29. they will be digging up grass to expose two low voltage cables for upcoming replacement. it is estimated that this will take 11 working days.
