Roadworks and road closures in and around Buckie this week

A NUMBER of roadworks are set to be ongoing in and around Buckie over the course of the coming week.

SSE are due to continue working in South Deskford Street, Cullen, to five a main cable fault. The work began on June 27 and is scheduled to run for 11 working days.

Work should finish by the end of the week, kif not before, outside 73 Douglas Crescent in Buckie where Openreach are enabling new localised ultra-fast broadband connections This activity involves excavation to Install telecoms duct to provide essential service and reinstatement

SGN are due to start work outside 2 Tannachy Terrace in Portgordon at some point between July 2-10 to install a new gas connection. It is envisaged the work will last for up to 10 working days.

Expected start and finish times, as well as work durations, are estimates and may change.

Meanwhile, Bogmoor Road at the Dallachy Strike Wing memorial will be closed for half an hour between 10.45am and 11am on July 1 to allow a Canada Day remembrance service to take place. a diversion has been put in place following the route B9104, U9E, C16E, U8E, U10E.
