Moray Council says the A941 will shut between the B975 turn-off besides Glenfiddich and another turn-off which leads to the former Convalmore distillery site.

Work to resurface the road is scheduled to take place between 6pm and midnight until Friday.

High-sided vehicles will face a long diversion via Keith and Huntly in order to avoid low bridges.

The local authority says other traffic will be diverted along local roads.
