Buckie road set to remain closed until end of week





A road in Buckie is set to be closed this coming week due to roadworks.

Logie’s Lane in Buckie is scheduled to remain closed until January 31 due to Scottish Water works. There is also a parking prohibition in place for 100m either side of the junction.

The A98 outside Inchgower distillery is due to have a 30mph speed restriction in force until January 31 as CCTV survey work is being undertaken’

Openreach are set to have begun work by January 28 outside 29 Dyce Crescent, Findochty to install new ultra-fast broadband connections. The work is expected to last for three working days.

Also in Findochty, at 16 Sterlochy Street, Scottish Gas Network (SGN) are aiming to begin work to install a new gas connection at some point between January 30 and February 7 for 10 working days.

Meanwhile, work to repair carriageway damage caused by torrential rain continues on McLaren’s Brae in Buckie.

Outside 87 Main Street in the town Scottish Water are scheduled to begin sewer repair work between January 27 and February 4 for seven working days.

SGN are expected to be working outside 3 Great Western Road, Buckie to disconnect a gas service under GSMR regulations at some point between January 29 and February 8. This is estimated to to take 10 working days.

Over at 28 Mair Street, Openreach will be installing ultra-fast broadband, getting under way by January 28 for three working days.
