Moray schools sending pupils home early as weather worsens





Several schools that opened this morning are sending children home early due to worsening weather conditions.

Elgin Academy and New Elgin Primary School are both closing earlier than usual. The Academy is sending youngsters home at 11.30am, with New Elgin Primary to shut at 1pm.

St Thomas Primary School in Keith and Dallas Primary School are both shutting early. Pupils can be collected from 12.30pm at both schools.

Several schools in the Speyside area have been shut both today and yesterday.

Mortlach Primary, Knockando Primary, Rothes Primary, Aberlour Primary, Craigellachie Primary, Tomintoul Primary and Glenlivet Primary have all been closed both days. Speyside High School has also been shut both days.

Rothiemay Primary is also shut today.
