SCREWFIX will open its first store in Elgin next week.

Twelve jobs have been created at the new branch in Springfield Industrial Estate on Edgar Road.

Trades people and DIY enthusiasts are invited to attend the official opening of the store on Thursday (February 5) where they can also demonstrate their professional skills in a free-to-enter screw drilling competition.

The person with the fastest time will win a 40 inch Toshiba smart TV.

Throughout the store’s launch period from Thursday until Sunday, February 8 all product ranges will have a 10% discount.

There will also be specific special offers.

The Elgin store will open Monday to Friday from 7am until 8pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am until 4pm.
