POLICE are searching for a white van which was allegedly being driven erratically and dangerously on the A96 last week.

The police were contacted at about noon on Monday, November 25, after witnesses became concerned about the Vauxhall Vivaro.

The vehicle was travelling west from Aberdeen towards Inverurie.

Not long afterwards the same van had a minor bump in the car park of the Inverurie branch of Morrisons.

This resulted in an altercation between a man and woman who were both travelling in the vehicle.

Constable Adele MacIntrye from Buckie Police Station said: "Enquiries into these incidents are ongoing and we are keen to talk to anyone who may have seen the white Vauxhall Vivaro on the A96 or who may have witnessed the crash and dispute in the car park."

Call police on 101 quoting incident number 2741 of Monday, November 25. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
