Section of A96 between Forres and Nairn closed in both directions after crash

A SECTION of the A96 between Forres and Nairn has been closed after a two-vehicle crash.

A tractor and a car collided at the first Auldearn turn off en route from Forres to Nairn at around 5.30pm.

The road was closed in both directions soon after, with traffic being diverted through Auldearn.

The welfare of the drivers involved remains unknown.
