SEPA has issued a 'Flood Alert' for Moray this weekend as heavy rain is forecast on Saturday and into Sunday.

A 'Flood Alert' states that there is a possibility of flooding.

It ranks below a 'Flood Warning' and a 'Severe Flood Warning'.

A SEPA spokesperson said: "The rainfall could cause some flooding impacts from rivers and surface water, particularly in the south of the area.

"Potential impacts include isolated flooding affecting individual properties, localised flooding of low-lying land and roads, and disruption to travel."
