The 35-year-old pleaded guilty to the incident, which occurred between October 1, 2013 and April 30, 2016 at an address in Forres.

Responding to a question from Sheriff David Harvie, defence solicitor John MacColl confirmed that the charge resulted from an investigation in 2020.

Milton, a former soldier, was again placed on the Sex Offender's Register and had sentence deferred until December 5 for a background report.

No other details were given at Inverness Sheriff Court but a full account will be presented at date of sentencing.

In 2022, the 35-year-old was convicted of possessing indecent images of children at a house in Kinloss.
