IT'S show time soon for students at Keith-based Stagestars Scotland who are getting ready to sparkle in their summer show.

A cast of more than 100 have been rehearsing for the production, Life Teaches Us to Dream, since January. The show's themes revolve around celebrating individuality and chasing dreams.

Founder and director of Stagestars Scotland Seonaid Clark said: "The students will convey their message through a combination of singing, dancing and acting.

"It is a light-hearted summer show that will appeal to everyone. The students are so talented.

"Staff and students have been working very hard to create something special for our audiences. For months, the students have been putting 100% into our rehearsals and we’re so proud and excited to share their work with you."

She added: "We have staged various productions for the past 18 years. Our last show was at Christmas and was an amazing success. Preparations are going really well for this show. Costumes too are looking fantastic and everyone is very excited to get into the Longmore Hall to get on stage."

With students ranging in age from seven to adulthood, cast members attend the group from right throughout Moray.

Life Teaches You To Dream will run for three nights this month at Longmore Hall in Keith, on Wednesday 19, Thursday 20 and Friday 21 June, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £14 and are available from the Stagestars School and Clark’s Pharmacy in Keith.
