THE spotlight will be on budding Moray performers this month who will have a chance to own the stage in "The Big Show Off".

The show, at Findhorn's Universal Hall, is the culmination of a lockdown project designed to nurture and showcase up-and-coming and established performers from Moray and beyond.

The organisers promise a fun evening of music, spoken word and comedy, interspersed with video and photography projected onto the big screen.

Each performer has been mentored by a professional to help fine-tune their skills.

There will be no social distancing at upcoming Universal Hall concerts but masks must still be worn unless exempt.

The Big Show Off will take to the stage on Saturday, September 11, at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the show, subsidised by Creative Scotland, cost £5 for adults and £3 for under-16s, and are available at universalhall.co.uk.
