Farmer Jordan Green, from Keith, asked the public for help tracking down the vehicle last weekend, which police said was seen in Cullen on the day it was taken (Friday, June 19).

The off-roader, a black Polaris Ranger with registration number SF20 NNB, was taken from a farm shed on Bridge Street in Keith between 1pm and 8pm.

Investigating officer Constable Brian Taylor said the theft would be a “significant financial loss” for the owner.

The latest police statement backs up claims by locals who, Mr Green said, reported seeing the vehicle on the road to Cullen at between 5pm and 6pm on Friday night.

Constable Taylor said: “This theft is having an impact on a local farm business and is a significant financial loss for the owner.

“I appeal to members of the public, if anyone saw the vehicle or has any information about the theft to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting CR/0268329/24”.
