Donations have already been pouring in for The Northern Scot appeal, in association with the St Giles Centre, Moray Council, Asda Elgin, Tesco Elgin and Dr Gray's Hospital.

The main drop-off point for donations is the St Giles Centre, with Asda and Tesco also accepting donations locally, as well as a number of other partner businesses.

The deadline for donations is Friday, December 18 so there is plenty of time to get involved.

Last year the appeal helped more than 300 individuals and families across Moray facing a hard time at Christmas.

With the ongoing impact of Covid-19, more people than ever face a tough Christmas and, with your donations, we can all do something to help at this time of year.

Chance to help those in need
