Three quarters of Moray adults fully vaccinated against Covid-19

MORE than three quarters of Moray's adults have received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.

A total of 58,630 people aged 18 plus in Moray are now fully vaccinated, which is 75.6 per cent of the area's adults.

In the last week, 5498 people have been given their second jab.

Meanwhile, a total 70,218 (90.6 per cent of Moray's adult population) have received one dose of a vaccine. This means 260 people have been given their first dose in the last week.

Across the NHS Grampian health board region, 87.4 per cent of adults (413,928 people) have received a first dose, with 67.2 per cent (318,187 people) having been fully vaccinated.

In Scotland, 88.4 per cent of adults (3,941,571 people) have received their first jab and 65.3 per cent (2,903,557 people) have received both.
