Rail passengers travelling between Inverness and Elgin have been hit by a number of cancellations on Friday morning.
Three of the trains running between the Highland capital and the Moray town will not run this morning due to a train fault.
The 7.18am Elgin to Inverness, 9.46am Inverness to Elgin and 10.51am Elgin to Inverness will not be running.
Other trains running on the Inverness-Aberdeen line will run as planned though, and there were no other cancellations in the north at the time of writing.
It is the second time this week that train faults have caused disruption to Inverness-Elgin journeys, with six separate services not running on Monday.
