British Transport Police seeking to speak to man in relation to assault on ScotRail service from Forres to Elgin





The British Transport Police are searching for a man “who may be able to assist enquiries into an assault” on the train between Forres and Elgin.

An image of the man - who is described as bald, in his 50s and with a southern English accent - has been released.

The transport police would like to speak to the man in relation to an assault that took place on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 around 7.40pm, on board a train between Forres and Elgin.

At the time, the man was wearing a green jacket, dark blue jeans and black trainers.

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact British Transport Police by either calling 0800 40 50 40 or texting 61016.
