Roads around RAF Lossiemouth to close as part of Trump visit to Scotland





A number of roads around a local airbase are set to be closed at the start of next week.

Four roads around RAF Lossiemouth will be affected at various points over 1.30pm to 5.30pm on Monday and from 12.30pm to 5pm on Tuesday.

It is believed the measures are connected with the visit of US President Donald Trump to Scotland.

The roads covered by the closures are:

• B9040 Hopeman-Lossiemouth Road (from U38E to B9135) (x4).

•U40E Drainie Road (from B9135 to C24E) (x4).

•C24E Westerfolds to U38E (from U40E to U38E) (x4).

A diversion will be in place following the route B9135>>A941, Lossiemouth Road, North Street, Morriston Road, Duffus Road, B9012 and B9040.
