Community engagement is at the heart of tsiMoray's Power to the People event.

TsiMoray, who act as the third sector interface for the region, are set to hold Power for the People in order to to shape the ways and means to ensure communities' voices are heard and our communities' actions supported.

This event will explore three key questions: What are you doing/trying to do in your community?; What’s hindering you?; What support did/would help you?

The programme will include short presentations from groups already making a difference in their communities.

This participative event is intended to explore and set out third sector collective expectations and aspirations regarding community engagement with public sector partners, who are currently reviewing their approach to it.

TsiMORAY are particularly keen to ensure that community engagement is recognised as going beyond the narrow confines of consulting communities on decisions and actions to be taken by public agencies.
