Two charged after police drugs swoop on Buckie hotel

TWO men have been arrested on drugs-related offences after police descended on a Buckie hotel.

Officers swooped on the Highlander Hotel in the town's East Church Street in the early evening of Sunday, September 20.

A heavy police presence remained in force outside the hotel for some time as investigations continued.

As a result, two men have been arrested.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm two men have been arrested in connection with drug supply offences after a premises on West Church Street, Buckie, was searched on Sunday evening, September 20, 2020.

“Inquiries are ongoing.”
