The college's student achievement figures, which were published by the Scottish Funding Council, are well above the national average for 2020/21.

The proportion of students achieving their full qualifications last year at the college was 7.6 per cent above the national average at 68.9 per cent.

That is also above the UHI region average of 63.7 per cent.

David Patterson, UHI Moray Principal and Chief Executive, said: "Last year was such a difficult, disrupted, year for us all, and the fact that students in Moray have again significantly out-performed the rest of Scotland is a testament to the commitment, skills, and flexibility of all our teaching and support staff, to enable such a remarkably high level of resilience and success from our students.

"I'm immensely proud of everything our staff and students have achieved."
