Buckie area roadworks round-up for the week ahead.





A number of roadworks are scheduled to run in the local area during the week ahead.

Scottish Water are due to be working through the week at Admiralty Street, Portknockie to raise a buried tap.

In Buckie, work is ongoing to fix damage to the carriageway on McLaren’s Brae caused by torrential rain.

Moray Council are due to start kerbing repair work on either Monday or Tuesday at Low Street, Buckie for three working days.

Between No 14-110 Main Street in the town the local authority are continuing to undertake street light replacements.

On John Street and Seaview Road, Openreach will be enabling new localised ultra-fast broadband connections.

Up the town at Blairdaff Street, Scottish Hydro Electric plan to be working through the week to fix a street lighting fault.

Scheduled to start over October 30-31, the council will be digging out and re-concreting two panels of footway between Nos 51 and 53 and between Nos 57 and 59. It is expected to take three working days.

Outside No 14 Park Grove, the local authority are due to reset a gully, starting between October 28-29 for three working days.

Long term work is under way at High Street, Fochabers, east of the junction with East Street. A prohibition of waiting order is in force.
