STRIKE action will knock out almost all train services across Scotland on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this week.
And services on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday may still be badly affected.
No services will run between Inverness and Aberdeen on the three days with action by staff with Network Rail.
ScotRail will run a very limited service on five routes in the central belt, with no trains anywhere else on any of the three strike days.
The routes are:
- Edinburgh - Glasgow via Falkirk High: two trains per hour.
- Edinburgh - Bathgate: two trains per hour.
- Glasgow - Hamilton/Larkhall: two trains per hour.
- Glasgow - Lanark: two trains per hour.
- Edinburgh - Glasgow via Shotts: one train per hour.
A spokesperson for ScotRail said Network Rail Scotland signallers will be on strike those those days.
"Unfortunately, Network Rail will be unable to open any other signal boxes to operate passenger services on any other routes on the strike days.
"On the days following strike action there will be disruption caused by the reopening of signal boxes at different times across the country. While the large signalling centres at Yoker, West of Scotland and Edinburgh will be able to operate from 7.15am this will not be the case at manual boxes elsewhere and it may well be early afternoon before many routes are able to operate as normal. This is particularly the case for routes outwith the Central Belt."
The only local services running on Wednesday, June 22 and Friday, June 24 are:
Aberdeen to Inverness – 08.23; 10.10; 11.56; 13.41; 15.25; 18.18.
Inverness to Aberdeen – 08.55; 10.57; 12.39; 14.30; 17.13; 18.05.
