Recently on the Northern Scot website, we printed a photo of three girls – thought to have been taken in the early 1970s – who looked like they were just about to enjoy a swim. However, nothing else was known about the trio.

Step forward Buckie ex-pat Jane Guy (nee Murray), who now lives in the USA. She has managed to identify two out of the three girls.

She said: "The first one on the left was Teresa Donn (I think) from Cullen, the middle girl was Moira Milne who lived at Dytach farm.

"We were all in the same class at Buckie High School in the early 70s."

The Advertiser would like to thank Jean for her help.

Can any readers identify the girl on the right of the picture?
