Gillian Vivian, from Burghead, is hosting a fundraising stall this Friday, March 18 at Tesco Elgin.

She has already done a Ready Steady Read/Listen where all of the students could read or listen to any reading resources and get sponsorship from friends and family.

The second event was a virtual book fair through her Facebook page and she is also running a Community Book Pledge, which culminates on Friday, to ask businesses and individuals if they can help support and donate to the school.

If the total amount raised is over £600 Usborne will donate an additional 60 per cent of free books.

As well as ordering books and donating, people can also buy lucky squares to support the effort through Gillian's Facebook page.

She will be at Tesco Elgin during the day on Friday, March 18 with a selection of books and people can also make cash donations.
