Police are carrying out inquiries into the incident and Moray Council is working on repairs.
A council spokesperson said: "We’ve assessed the damage to Lossiemouth High School following an act of vandalism over the weekend and are progressing repairs.
"CCTV footage is being reviewed and we’ll work with Police Scotland to assist with identification where possible and would encourage anyone with any information to come forward."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.20pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021, a report was made to police regarding a vandalism to a High School in Lossiemouth.
