People are being asked how the Cabrach's old school could by used to help the community.

.

The Cabrach Trust is aiming to restore the building because, it says, the current community facilities at the Acorn Centre are no longer fit for purpose.

A spokesperson said: "The vision of the Cabrach Trust is to regenerate the area as a thriving, sustainable community with its history, heritage and place in Scottish history celebrated and shared by all.

"Part of that plan includes the restoration of the Old School Hall and House.

"We would like to invite people who live, work in or visit the Cabrach area to share their views on the potential use and the benefit to the community.

"A business case will then be developed on the preferred option."

People are being invited to come enjoy a cuppa, cake and chat on Saturday, October 9, from 2pm-4.30pm in the Acorn Centre, Cabrach.

There is no need to book.
