WATCH: Santa and reindeer come to town for Elgin BID Christmas lights switch on

SANTA and his reindeer created a real buzz in the centre of Elgin for the return of the Christmas lights event.

The city centre was busy with excited youngsters and their parents as the Elgin BID festive event returned to the calendar.

The day on Saturday included a festive farmers' market, and entertainment throughout the day on the Plainstones.

The lights were switched on later in the afternoon.
