WATCH: NHS Charities Together celebrate the work of health service

THE NHS Charities Together organisation has thanked all those who have donated to help support NHS staff.

Thousands of NHS staff received practical and emotional support through the pandemic such as counselling, food supplies and somewhere to rest during busy shifts.

A spokeswoman for NHS Charities Together said: "With your help, we pushed patient care further, supplying technology to keep families connected, investing in cutting-edge research and delivering life-saving training to volunteers.

"Our film celebrates those moments that the NHS is here for us and how together we can continue to be there for the NHS as it recovers from one of the most challenging times in history, to reach people on longer waiting lists and to care for a nation growing older every year."

"We want as many people to understand the amazing work that NHS charities do, so that we can continue to support them."
