EE ‘intends’ on remaining in Elgin after St Giles Centre closure as mobile truck set up on Plainstones





A mobile network operator has set up a temporary home on Elgin High Street as it searches for a new premises.

EE had a store in the St Giles Centre, which has now officially closed.

However, the company is hopeful of remaining in Elgin and is searching for a new permanent home.

In the meantime, a mobile truck has been set up “for the foreseeable future” on the Plainstones.

It began operating today (Tuesday, January 21) and will be open from 9am until 5pm from Monday to Saturday.

An EE spokesperson said: “We intend to stay in Elgin to serve the local community and will continue to support our colleagues and customers while we search for a new home”.
