WINDSWEPT Brewing celebrated the arrival of the new Poseidon P-8 aircraft at RAF Lossiemouth by launching a new beer of the same name.

Windswept's founding directors Nigel Tiddy and Al Read were both RAF Tornado pilots prior to setting up the award-winning Lossie brewery, and wanted to mark the arrival of the Poseidon P-8 to the town on Tuesday.

The new beer is called Poseidon IP-8 and clearly had to be an IPA in style.

To kick off the celebrations, the brewery is giving away 120 free bottles to any serving RAF Lossiemouth personnel.

Nigel Tiddy said: “Many of our loyal customers are based at RAF Lossiemouth and we have recognised that their support over the years, and particularly at the moment, has been so important to our success.

"We wanted a way to say thank you and also join in the excitement that the arrival of this aircraft brings to the area.”

The beer will be for sale both via Windswept Brewing’s on-site and online shops as well as available for other hospitality and retail customers to buy too.
