Windswept Brewing is putting its "beer tastes best when you’ve earned it" mantra into action.

The Lossiemouth company is donating 3p from every bottle it sells of its Lighthouse beer to Outfit Moray.

This charity, which is also based in Lossiemouth, provides outdoor adventures for young people in Moray, particularly those who are vulnerable or disadvantaged.

Nigel Tiddy, the brewery's co-owner, said "We have had a close relationship with Outfit Moray for some time, but we wanted to make a more meaningful contribution to help them continue with their outstanding work.

"At Windswept we strongly believe in the importance of getting outdoors and enjoying the incredible environment we live in – especially in these unusual times.

"We want to help Outfit Moray give others the opportunity to benefit from their own outdoor adventures."

The donations will be made, whether bottles of Lighthouse are bought from Windswept's online shop, its Tap Room bar or via another stockist.

Outfit Moray offers canoeing, kayaking, climbing, coasteering, rock scrambling, mountain biking, paddle boarding, gorge swimming and archery.

Tony Brown, the charity's CEO, said: "Windswept Brewing already sponsor Cairngorm to Coast, which is our annual 100km hike and bike event, .

"This new partnership will deepen our connection and help raise more vital funds.

"By enabling us to continue delivering our programme of life-changing outdoor learning and adventure activities, Windswept Brewing’s generosity will make a difference to the lives of young people in Moray."
