MORAY Art Centre will be the first venue to host an exhibition tour of stunning winning images from the Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year competition next week.

All entries were taken in Scotland and were submitted by professional and amateur photographers and film-makers. Awards were also presented for photographers aged under-18 and for students undertaking a photography element in their studies.

The exhibition shows the winning photographers' interpretations of wildlife, landscape, environmental, botanical and abstract subjects. It will run at the art centre between Tuesday, July 2, to Sunday, August 4.

The winners were selected by the judging panel – Raymond Besant, Jamie Grant and Niall Irvine. The exhibition includes a screening of the Scottish Nature Video Award 2018 for short films on a nature, wildlife or landscape theme.

Moray Art Centre, in Findhorn, is open from 10am-5pm from Tuesdays-Fridays, noon-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and is closed on Mondays. Admission is free.
