Woman, 18, seriously hurt in fall from Elgin town centre rooftop

AN 18-YEAR-OLD woman suffered serious injuries after falling from a rooftop in the centre of Elgin at the weekend.

Police Scotland officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, September 12.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Enquiries are under way after an 18-year-old woman fell from the roof of a building in the High Street in Elgin on Sunday, September 12.

"Police were made aware of the incident around 20 past midnight.

"The woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

"An investigation is under way to establish the full circumstances of what has happened."
