Woman (22) issued fixed penalty notice after three-car crash near Brodie

A 22-year-old woman has been issued with a fixed penalty notice after a three-car crash near Brodie last night.

The incident, which saw a 37-year-old woman taken to hospital in Elgin, took place just after 5pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a three-vehicle crash on the A96 at Brodie around 5.15pm on Tuesday, May 25.

"A 37-year-old woman was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital and has since been discharged.

"There were no other reports of injuries.

"A 22-year-old woman has been issued with a fixed penalty notice in connection with road traffic offences."

The road was closed in both directions for around an hour while cars were cleared.
