A95 crash in Moray sees woman arrested and passenger taken to hospital





A woman has been arrested after a one-car crash on a trunk road which saw her passenger taken to hospital.

Police confirmed that the incident, on the A95 at Grange near Keith, was reported at around 7.50pm last night.

Emergency services were called to the site of the crash, which involved one vehicle, before taking a 26-year-old woman to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for assessment.

The 28-year-old driver was arrested in connection with a driving offence, however she was later released for further investigation.

In the wake of the crash, officers closed the trunk road to investigate the crash before re-opening the A95 at around 9.30pm.

Two fire engines were also sent to the scene, with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirming that one casualty was transferred to the ambulance service.

The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that two ambulances and a “special operation response team” were sent to the crash.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.50pm on Thursday, 5 June, 2025, we received a report of a one vehicle crash on the A95 near Keith.

“Emergency services attended, and a 26-year-old woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for assessment.

“The road was closed to allow for investigations to take place and re-opened around 9.30pm.

“The driver, a 28-year-old woman, was arrested in connection with a driving offence and released pending further investigation.”
