Scottish Cup second round clash is set to be televised on BBC Scotland

AN all Highland League clash has been picked as the televised match in the Scottish Cup second round in October.

BBC Scotland have confirmed that it will televise the match between Formartine United and Buckie Thistle later this month.

The match will take place at North Lodge Park on Friday, October 24 and will kick-off at 7.45pm.

Both teams got past the first round stage earlier this month when Buckie Thistle defeated Huntly 3-1 with Formartine United progressing after a 2-1 victory over Lossiemouth at Grant Park.

Ten Highland League clubs progressed into the second round of the Scottish Cup after victories in their first round matches last month.

All the remaining second round matches are set to take place on Saturday, October 25.
