Jack MacIver says he’s relishing the opportunity to shine in SPFL football with Elgin City.

The 21-year-old completed his loan move from Buckie Thistle to City in time to make a Borough Briggs debut.

He featured as a late substitute and made some telling runs in an impressive first run-out for the club as Elgin won 3-0 against Bonnyrigg Rose.

In his first interview since completing the move, the former Aberdeen man spoke about his relationship with manager Allan Hale, who he worked with at Huntly before.

MacIver won the Highland League title at Buckie last season and said he is already picking up on a winning mentality at Borough Briggs.
