Lukas Vaitekunas had two bouts in consecutive days but the tough schedule didn’t faze him as he emerged with the 86kg open class youth title.

Matching his club mate’s achievement, Matthew Cargill made short work of his opponent with a first round stoppage to claim the 75kg novice title.

The club came so close to clinching a north title treble as Ben Banford reached his final and was unlucky to lose to his opponent on a 3-2 split decision, as he had to settle for silver.
