HUNTLY have raided the transfer market yet again to bring in striker Brodie Allen from Lossiemouth.
The 24-year-old recently signed a pre-contract to join Huntly but the move now goes through with immediate effect on a deal under the summer of 2024.
It is the Christie Park side's third signing in recent weeks following the acquisition of ex-Inverurie Locos forward Andy Hunter and winger Robbie Foster, who came in from Fort William.
Huntly manager Allan Hale said Allen was part of his plans for next season but he was pleased to do business now so he cpould work with the player over the coming months.
"We got the pre-contract away last week but Lossiemouth were keen to do something now," he said.
"Brodie is a good player. He has always impressed us when we played Lossiemouth and he scored against us recently.
"He fits the type of player we want to bring in, in terms of his attitude and the way he wants to develop and improve as a player.
"He works really hard for the team, he comes from an honest team in Lossiemouth so there’s no question marks over his attitude in that regard.
"I’m really excited to bring him in and it gives us the depth in that area that we have badly missed."
Huntly paid a nominal fee for the player, who would have cost nothing when his contract expired at the end of the season.
