Buckie Thistle beat Brora Rangers 4-3 on penalties to reach final of Utilita Highland League Cup

BUCKIE Thistle have won through to the final of the Utilita Highland League Cup after a dramatic penalty shootout.

The Jags triumphed 4-3 this afternoon against Brora Rangers at Dudgeon Park.

They will now play Rothes in the final next weekend.

Former Brora striker Stevie Ross gave the Jags an early lead in the semi-final but Bjorn Wagnaar levelled in the second half.

Jack Murray headed the visitors into a 2-1 lead in the second half of extra-time, before Buckie had Hamish Munro sent off.

Brora levelled through Gregor Macdonald which took the game to penalties.

Buckie missed their opening kick but scored their remaining four to take the win.
