Jags were due to host Fort on Saturday September 4 on league business.

However, the Victoria Park club's 3-1 SPFL Trust Trophy win at Brechin City on Wednesday night earned a second round tie at Championship side Inverness on the same date.

The Fort match will now be rearranged for another date.

Jags lead the way in the Highland League on goal difference after a sparkling start to the campaign.

Graeme Stewart's side defeated Lossiemouth 5-0 on day one, then won 4-0 at Turriff before destroying Keith 10-0 last Saturday

Tomorrow the green and whites host Deveronvale in the Banffshire coast derby in front of an all-ticket crowd.

It is the start of a difficult run of fixtures for Buckie which will go some way to determining their title credentials.

After Vale, Jags visit Rothes the following weekend, and four days later Fraserburgh visit Victoria Park in another vital league encounter.

On Saturday, September 28, Buckie are on the road to Pitmedden to take on a Formartine United side which has already beaten them twice in recent weeks in cup competitions.

That game is a week ahead of Jags' cup trip to Caley Thistle, where they will be aiming to avenge a narrow Scottish Cup defeat to the Highland outfit earlier this year.

The tests keep coming for Buckie, as a week after the Caley clash, they head further north to face league champions Brora Rangers.
