City manager Gavin Price landed the manager of the month while free-scoring front man Shane Sutherland scooped the best player prize.

The Black and Whites are currently on a great run of form with five consecutive victories in all competitions, equalling a club record in their 20-year Scottish League history.

Four of those wins came in October, including two in League 2 at Albion Rovers and at home to Queen's Park.

Elgin's best result of the month was a 2-0 success at League 1 Airdrie in the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup, a win which took them through to the quarter-finals.

They also defeated Berwick Rangers 3-1 in the William Hill Scottish Cup second round.
