Spanish sportswear firm sign up Elgin City in four-year kit deal

ELGIN City have announced a four-year deal with Spanish sportswear firm Joma Sport as their new kit supplier.
The Borough Briggs club will unveil their new home and away strips on Monday, which will be available to buy soon on a fresh club website.
Club director Isla Benzie said: ‘We looked at a few different options to ensure we got the best quality product and service for the club and our supporters.
“The service received already from Joma Sport has been excellent with fantastic quality products.
"We look forward to working with Joma Sport and building the Elgin City brand through the whole club from community, youth and right through to the first team."
Joma will be the club’s official technical kit supplier which includes the first team kit, training gear, replica kits and leisure wear for supporters, as well as kit for the club's youth academy and community departments.
Joma Sport are currently kit suppliers for a number of top European clubs including Hoffenheim, Anderlecht, Sampdoria, Torino and Villareal.
They have kitted out Scottish clubs like Partick Thistle, Dunfermline Athletic and Dumbarton in recent years.
The firm's senior branch manager is former footballer Andrew Barrowman, who played for a string of clubs north and south of the border including two successful spells at Ross County.
He said: “Joma Sport are delighted to welcome Elgin City Football Club to the Joma family.
"We look forward to providing the players and fans with a high level of playing, training and leisure wear, in what we are sure will be a successful partnership both on and off the pitch.
“The club enjoy a strong community-based identity and we look forward to establishing a great relationship with the club and its wider footballing community for many years to come.”
Elgin City are also in the process of building and designing a new website, set for launch next month.
The club's new kit and merchandise will be available to buy from the website's online club shop, with pre orders being taken from Monday.
