Manager Allan Hale expressed his delight after the final whistle in our video interview, pointing to the fact that the club has been involved in relegation battles in recent seasons.

He said he was delighted for the supporters who stuck by the team, referring to their three years of pain as City struggled to find results in the last three seasons.

Hale suggested that nobody fancied his team to make a promotion push this year.

And he says there is no pressure on Elgin once they begin their play-offs quest on May 6 as “nobody is expecting Elgin City to win”.
