Elgin City’s former Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Lewis Hyde celebrated his first goal for the Borough Briggs club in the win over Peterhead and hopes they can challenge for the League 2 title





Lewis Hyde picked the perfect time to score his first goal for Elgin City.

His 24th minute strike in the 2-0 win over Peterhead rewarded a strong start by the Black and Whites, and set them up nicely for the three points.

In his post-match video interview, Hyde described his goal and the good feeling of getting off the mark for the club.

He said he is loving life at Borough Briggs and believes they can go on and challenge not only for promotion but the League 2 title.
