A SERIES of multi-terrain fun runs will take place this weekend on Speyside.
Ballindalloch Castle will be the setting for the fundraising event by Macmillan Cancer Support’s Speyside committee.
There will be runs for all ages and abilities, ranging from 800m, one mile, 2.5k and 5k.
Guy Macpherson-Grant, the current laird of the castle, said: “It is a great pleasure to welcome all the runners here for the fifth Macmillan fun run.
“We hope everyone has a wonderful day as well as raising much-needed funds for this tremendous charity.”
The entry fees are £10 for adults and £5 for children.
The gates open at 10am on Sunday and the first run is at 11am.
Charlotte Mountain, chairwoman of the Speyside committee, added: “The fun to run event at Ballindalloch has grown each year and is a wonderful way to bring families together in a fun event and a good reason to get fit at the same time.
“We are hoping that the weather will be as kind as it was last year when the runners and their families were able to enjoy the magnificent grounds after all their endeavours.”
Ballindalloch Castle has been the home of the Macpherson-Grant family since it was built in 1546.
