Hat-tricks galore in Tewnion goalfest

HAT-TRICKS were the order of the day as no fewer than 37 goals were scored in three Moray Welfare Tewnion Cup ties.

Cullen and Rothes both went goal crazy and hit 12 each as they booked semi-final places.

Cullen thumped Lossie A 12-5, with Russell McLaughlin (4), Kris Geddes (3) and Ian Jack (3) the main scorers.

James McLaren also managed a hat-trick for the visitors.

Rothes A thrashed the White Eagles 12-1, with Ewan Grant (4) and Kelvin Main (3) on target.

Bishopmill Villa dumped Portsoy 6-1.

It was a tighter affair in the only first division match played as Bowl 2000 edged Mosstodloch 1-0 with a first half goal from Scot McCart.
